Has anyone sent thier skimmer lid down to Avast to have it retrofitted? How was the overall expirence? I'm looking to send mine down.

I've had mine running trouble free for about 18 months, works great, running on my PM Bullet two and only concern is if it would affect the auto shutoff on the waste collector, so far no issue.

Im not sure how good this is. From what i am seeing from the pics, won't it dump all the skimmate to the bottom of your skimmer?? Or am i not seeing a collection source for this.

It keeps the neck clean, if you run the skimmer a little wet and cycle the swabbie a couple times a day the foam carries the debris up and out, depending on what skimmer you use it will require a trial period till you get it dialed in, I am getting better more consistent skimmate and spend less time breaking down the skimmer for cleaning, I don't mind maintenance but of all the smelly things my tank produces skimmer mung is not my most favorite.
