Default What do you do for a living?

Thought it would be kind of cool to see how diverse the members are on Canreef and learn a bit about each other. So I ask what do you do for a living? Who do you work for and what do you do? Wether its impressive or not lets hear it. Every job is cool and unique in its own way.

Pics are always good too.

I work for a company called Schat Harding (insert joke here). Its a international company that has a majority foot hold in the world life saving appliance market on ships, oil rigs and training schools. We have manufactured life boat systems for 78 years now.

I'm a field service engineer, I go out into the field on the ships and inspect and service the winches, davits (crane that lowers the boat) and life boats.
I travel all around the world and on all types of vessels from cruise ships, merchant ships and oil rigs.

This is a pic of a Tender Boat on a cruise ship in Vancouver turned out and hanging over the side ready to be lowered to the water.

This is what it looks like on the deck when the boats are stowed hanging above.

Thanx for looking and posting

Sean
