This is because DJ88 upgraded to a 400W 10,000K, right? Or am I thinking of someone else.

Darren, tell us how you take your pictures so that they don't appear overexposed. Got any tank photographing tips you'd like to share?

Thanks Shao.

Tony. the colors were coming out witht eh 250W Iwasaki. But they are more enhnaced with the 10KK. Pretty much everything went brown during the change over. So I am happy. one of my scrolling montis has deep blue polyps now. The big greenish one on the left. New blues and purples all over the other corals.

As for taking pics. Right now I just put my coolpix on auto and let it take the shots. I am too lazy. ;)

For the macros and such I always use a tripod.

Nice pics Darren. Are these before or after the partial tear down and clean up?

After.. I like how it is now. I used what LR rubble I had to make all kinds of pod piles in the back and enough caves for the gramma and cardinal to be happy.. Works for me.
