Stupid me!!... poor fish
i cant believe this happened just now... i just bought a firefish and just when i finish drip acclimating him i decided to take the bag he was in and pour some water out and BLOPPPP down he went into the drain with it.... i quickly disconnected the piping and got him out but he was with dirty freshwater... quickly put him in a bucket of my tanks water.. will he be ok to put in my tank or will he be goners/infect my tank?... was in the pipe for about a total of 30 seconds

It will be fine to place him in your tank.

If it was only 30 sec, he will be OK. He won't be happy with you..., but he should get over it...

Lol I still can't believe that happened. I'm transferring him into seperate tank water containers to try to flush the nasty sink water from him

lol. It's so true. Just think of his little trip as a nice fresh water dip to ensure no parasites. People do freshwater dips for up to 10 minutes sometimes so 30 seconds wouldn't harm it at all.
