Oh my God, that really is a disaster. I hope that everyone is just fine and that you'll be able to receive a help from some governing bodies. Take care.

We were not affected. Luckily we are no where near the water.

What a disaster for some! I've seen some picture where the water was inches below the octagon of a stop sign!

"According to the latest figures, 171 municipalities in Quebec are affected by flooding and 2,733 houses are flooded.

In total, 1,940 people have left their homes and about 500 roads washed out province-wide."

Flooding is widespread across Canada. There is flooding in the interior of BC, especially in the Kamloops/Cache Creek area (in the West) and I think Halifax is also experiencing flooding on the East Coast. This seems to be the worst spring for nation-wide flooding that I can remember. Areas that are not even in the "flood zone" of local rivers and creeks are now underwater. Glad to hear from Ray that Reef Supplies is nowhere near the flooding. Hope our members are just as fortunate. There are already lots of families who have lost everything and since flooding is considered an "Act of God" in insurance-speak, that means most won't be able to make insurance claims to get compensated for their loss and have the money to rebuild. Some may have optional flood insurance, but a lot of people don't.

The flooding is biblical and only going to get worse in the future. One year the crops will either be under water or be in drought and everybody will go hungry. Our leaders suck and the machines are in control. I don't see a sustainable future for mankind. You know whos going to suffer the LITTLE PEOPLE

She sure is this is our summer lake getaway. Just south of the border on osoyoos
Lake. Lots of damage from a warm day and snow melt.

That is very sad indeed! Lots of folks without insurance! Some homes have 4 feet of water in them! WTF are they going to do!
