Hi everyone,
We'd like to introduce ourselves as some of you in BC know who we are and the rest of you may not. Island Pets is situated in Richmond and Burnaby, BC. With 6000 sq ft of retail space in Richmond and 4000 sq ft in Burnaby, we are the largest aquatic pet focused store in British Columbia.

The store has gone through various changes in ownership in the past little while. With current management we have heard and are listening to comments and suggestions by hobbyist such as yourself and value your input. Our specialized team has been putting a lot of focus on our saltwater section recently and have revamped our Richmond coral tank with new plumbing, enhanced lighting (ATI T5HO bulbs) and massive flow to make sure we bring you healthy, colourful corals. We are stringent in making sure the water parameters are ideal for all the corals we bring in. Before putting it in our tank we make sure they are dipped and inspected for any pests, therefore ensuring we don't have any outbreaks as well as you not taking home anything you don't want. Dipping is till encouraged when you purchase any corals as this is still great practice in protecting everyones tanks.



We hand pick most of our stock and make sure that items chosen are of the highest quality. We will have coral colonies as well as some coral frags for those who prefer to spend less and acquire a wider variety. We hope to see many more canreef folks even if it is to give some suggestions in what products and stock you would like to see. Please be patient with us as we are slowly but steadily upgrading other systems.

As for shipping to other provinces we do offer that option. Free shipping is offered when you purchase $300 or more in livestock. Our website, www.islandpets.ca, will be updated very soon with images of WYSIWYG corals and prices. We'll also post it on here for everyone to browse.
