Default Anyone tried these T5 fixtures?

I was looking at these T5 fixtures. They come with reflector, bulb, fixture and quick diconnect cords. They are about $40 CDN. Anyone used them? I'm about to order 3 - 10k and 3 - Actinic.

Seems really good!

The ballast is only $65 too.

It will fire up to 4 of those bulbs...

4 x 40 = 160 + 65 = 257.63... Say $300 with shipping? Sweet

Each fixture is self ballasted.

sorry, I ended up looking at the 36" bulbs that didnt come with a built in ballast

My friend is setting up a 30g tank now and was really concerned about shelling out big bucks for lighting... wonder if these would keep frogspawn and such happy.... hmmm.

Walter, if you go with these can you give me a overall lenght measurment. these might be good to stick in the LPS tank if they will fit.

The only thing id be scared of is they are just like mh bulbs not all are created equal. The link you provided were for ATI bulbs and not the ones you are thinking of buying

Did you scroll down to the bottom? I'm pretty sure the bulbs I'd be getting are not ATI, but for the price, I can always change the bulbs later if I'm not happy...
