thanks... i think if my last clown dies im just going to stock it with corals for now... maybe fish for christmas?

That would be fine, just remember to add slowly...My 140 has recovered nicely from my set-back at the beginning of the year and is looking great again...yours will too.

other than corals nothing has been added for a while, 3+ weeks and before that all came from my 90 gallon

Horrible disease, velvet is!! *shudder*
Hope that you will get through this OK.
Every time we hear about this disease, we just feel so badly for the people going through it.
Careful with the copper. Get all new tools for this purpose: nets, heater, bucket. Don't ever cross-contaminate your main tank with any remnants of copper, or you'd risk loosing more inverts, and the inability to ever use your main tank for anything other than a fish-only tank.
