I for one thought it was very informative well written and it gave me a better understanding of the fish. Plus another member had asked why it was expensive and that is why he gave an explanation of facts.
And I appreciate his answer!

Us salties can learn something outside of ourselves. lol.

I wonder... does anyone care enough to read signatures if you make them really small? I would not. I would probably moan and complain, read three words and swear once or twice. But since you made it this far, please rate my builds.

I was going to suggest AA (alberta aquatica).

Also... im not surprised at the $500 tag. Flowerhorns can fetch pretty big numbers. Many specialty flowerhorns fetch in excess of $250 at only 1-2". Ofcourse some can be had for only $25 bucks... but those are the cheap ugly ones. Its along the same lines as $1500 - $15 000 crossback and super chilli red arowanas etc... as the OP said. The same thing exists with koi, where some even fetch into the quarter million range, i poop you not! (As can be said for some snake morphs that are $10-50 000, racing pigeons that cost $1000-250 000, show dogs... horses..., tarantulas that cost $1000 and they aren't even morphs).

Not that any of that was exciting, lol, but the flashy prices dont exist only for SW fish!

Cheers,

Chris
