Default well water to cure rock?

I'm on a well and have a 30 gallon tank im gonna set up to just start cycling some dead rock, as im moving tanks soon and the rock i have now have alot mushrooms wich i don't want . should be ok to just mix up some salt water with well and not use RO?

should be ok , id throw a heater and a power head in there and keep it dark if possible
