Thanks everyone.
After a week of uncertainty because my Dad couldn't eat or drink anything and had to go on IV drip & have a tube inserted up his nose to drain the fluid buildup, he's finally getting better and if his progress continues, they will remove his tube in a couple of days and hopefully he can come home soon after that. After seeing three specialists today, we learned my Dad had 2 types of colon cancer which were eliminated when they removed 80% of his colon. However, he has an aggressive form of lymphoma which they will have to treat with an aggressive chemotherapy regimen.
