On board with the tunicate ID, eggs wouldn't have the large incurrent siphon hole.

I believe you are right about them being a tunicate colony. I've been Googling around and have found pics very similar to what I have. They have been multiplying a bit also as I have found more on the other side of the rock. Part of them share a bigger siphon.

I'm not sure if I have that great of water quality considering that I'm still battling GHA and I've slowed WC's down to only once every 2 weeks or so.
