Default pool table

Anybody have a pool table in the same room as a tank? I was thinking of getting one if and when I move but am worried it is a recipe for disaster. Maybe I should go acrylic on my next tank?

Build the tank into the wall with a couch below it, that will keep people far enough away.

I was worrying about balls flying off the table and hitting the tank.

How close would the table be to the tank? Obviously, the farther away the less of a chance you'll have one bounce all the way to the tank.

I never thought of that! I guess you could make people aware of that fact when shooting towards the tank not to overdue it?

This is what I am going to do in my basement I had a "fish" room already setup from my FW days when I bred angels and austrailian rainbows. my plan is to have the plexiglass front moveable so that when people ar enot playing pool and the tank will be alittle higher in the wall as well and a lesser chance of a flying ball hitting it
