Default who's dosing potassium?

For people use Instant Ocean salt for sps tanks, do you dose potassium? I heard IO's potassium is pretty low but I don't have a test kit to confirm.

If so do you dose by test kit or recommended volume?

Thanks

I dose zeo K balance as per directions, because I got talked into trying it. I won't be replacing the bottle when it's gone

Any noticeable difference? more polyp extension? better blue and purple colour?

Nope, nothing noticeable to my eyes. I can better spend my money on things that matter.

I use the k balance strong with the occasional dose of brightwell potassium powder last time I tested it was 400 for my system
It's helped with color and polyp exstention.

Default potassium

Potassium does improve polyp extension and blue colour but be careful, too much will nuke some corals.

I use Zeo PIF and Brightwells liquid. I have a Red Sea test kit but haven't opened it in the last 3 months. Meh.

Potassium is in the name but that's not potassium. You would overdose your tank with iodine before you raised your potassium even 5ppm
