Gorilla Glue

who here has used it on there frags . its the same ingredients in Super Glue

I seem to remember there's a variety of them...? maybe.

I'm looking at the one I tried... it's a 2oz bottle, doesn't say anything other than Gorilla Glue on it.

Anyway, doesn't work as well as Super Glue for fragging. After applying, it doesn't cure very well underwater. It also gets foamy with bubbles, so it pushes your pieces apart a bit and then globs of uncured glue want to float to the surface.

it was a mess.

someone once noted a good tip. Just get regular Super Glue, and it's cheaper at the dollar store.

Ya that is what I was figuring just doing a check Grizz and I were talking about it and He told me about it.

Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue I believe. It only cures in the presence of moisture. I use it for laminating steamed and cured hardwood, which it is great for. Not so sure it would work in the reef as it doesn't cure fast and bubbles as mentioned. Being reef safe is another thing altogether.

Well i used it on a frag plug and its awesome the only thing is u need to let it stand for like a minute and blow on it other the. That no foaming or bubbling

The gorilla glue is a brand not a type ,they make lots of different types of glue ,you guys are talking about different types of glue , I wouldn't use the brown oozy polyurethane anywhere in a aquarium application
