Default Coral ID

Anyone care to take a stab at Id'ing this coral? I'm not even sure where it came from, whether it was a hitchhiker or one of the many frags I've picked up over the years

It doesn't look like a montipora, porites maybe?

It's very aggressive, even my hairy mushrooms treat it with respect and they kill everything in their paths

weird, porites are usually total wusses when it comes to coral warfare. It does kind of look like a porites though, or a psammacora

heliopora Blue ridge? My buddy has some heliopora that started out like that on a piece of L/R. Does it have light blue/white growth tips and skinny clear brown polyps. His had a weird growth pattern like gummy worms standing upright when it started to branch, not the usual ridges.

It's definitely not a heliopora, and I'm not convinced it's a porites. Might be a psammacora but I'm unfamiliar with those and the pictures I've looked at aren't very clear

Some kind of monti, perhaps? The third picture, on those raised bumps, it kind of looks like a M. danae. Just a guess, of course. Until I wrote this post and when I first saw the pics I was thinking "it's some kind of psammacora", but someone already suggested that!
