Default ID Quiz: What is this?

Well this this has been there for quite long on this zoa but it doesn't seem to bother the zoas. Those two tubes are open and are light sensitive since they close up (the mouth of the tube) if there's any change in intensity; just like clams.

BTW its not barnacle.

I don't know them to be bad and have bought a couple of coloured ones. Only threat I can think of would be of excessive proliferation, but I suspect not. Really though, I am just speculating.
