Default phosphates

Just wondering what filter media is recomended for phosphate removal,getting alot of turf algae,it may be my lights,I just switched a 50/50 96w for a 96w 10000k and added chemipure elite ever since been getting algae any suggestions,havn't had any fish in tank for 2weeks,nitrates 0

Check Bulk Reef Supply they seem to have good stuff.

email Mike at aqua digital here on the board. 50 ml bottle dosing very small increments. very powerful stuff. its from fauna Marin. took my phosphates in my 150 down from .03 to 0 in about 3 days and i hardy used this stuff. i mean its powerful stuff.... and i only used like 3 drops every day for 3 days ///

Testing for phosphates is really taboo. If you have algae you have phosphates. Your test kit may say you have lots of phosphates or none at all, but this is because as the algae grows it eats up the phosphates, and your water column may read 0, but the algae is still holding it. Read the Nuisance Algae Guide in my signature. It should answer all your questions.

sorry about that its called Ultra BIO. PM Mike to get him to explain the importantance of the stuff too. and if you get it dont run Phosban with it , they will work together super bad which is not good
