Default At what age can Bangaii babies eat cyclopeeze?

I got some and tried it, it's still too big. They were interested but those that tried a bite spit it out.

How big are they? I thought they came out at a pretty good size. Could you put the cyclopeeze in something like a spice or coffee grinder to break it down some more?

It's frozen cyclopeeze.

I guess they must have little mouths....

Found this and thought I'd share on this thread in case anyone looks in the future:

Look like they should be able to, so I'll maybe chop it.

Cool! I hope you can get it figured out. I take it they're in a tank on their own (the parents)

Just bought the fry, no parents here. Imagine I'll have another brother/sister breeding pair out of it, you want another Bug?

I would be interested in 2-4 of them if you sell them. Once they're ready of course

From what I understand, sexual maturity, and fighting, can come as early as four months of age, so I expect I will be looking at May.

They can eat Cyclopeeze as soon as they hatch, but they will not be willing to. You have to slowly wean them by mixing the BBS with the Cyclopeeze. If you have a moving water column so the Cyclopeeze moves instead of just falling to the bottom that will help. Also, adding a drop of garlic to the BBS and the Cyclopeeze to help mask flavor will help too. I start weaning at about 10 days old.
