Default Calcium consumption...

How much Ca your tank consumes in one day on average? I know depends on inhabitants, but I am just curious about ballpark. 8ppm, 25ppm? or more?

Hey Robert,

I couldnt tell ya what mine is,but it would be interesting to know.

An easy way to tell would be to simply test for a couple of days, then shut off your reactor or stop kalkwasser for a couple more days of testing.

I did this for alkalinity, and found at the time my tank consumed about 1.3 meq/l per day.
