Hey ok so this sunlight supply retrofit system, I don’t understand it, can I just put it together and add it to the top of my 90g? is it a light fixture you put together yourself?

big Al's has a fixture with two T5 54W bulbs in it with the housing for $149 but it was two wide to fit on my tank with the lighting I already have.
So how wide is this unit??

Is it safe to add just above your tank with no case to cover the lights?

Do you have it assembled? (If so got a photo, the link didn’t give me a good idea of what to expect)

Comes with legs to mount the lights to the tank? Or is it wide enough to hang over the edge of a 90g?

I'm sure i sound annoying with all my question, just want to make sure this will work for me.

You have to do a little work, but thats the idea with a retrofit. You mount the lights how/where you want and connect the wires from the ballast.

Thanks for the photos, but unfortunately won’t work for me – no canopy to place those on
