Thanks! I couldn't find it anywhere and my LFS sold it to me as a Scarlet Wrasse which seems to be the same fish but when I looked it up it didn't even have the same body shape???
So I think I have a female right?

Default redfin fairy wrasse

Using a book that i have found to be an excellent resource,

a pocket expert guide to marine fishes - scott w. michael (online it is 1/2 the price it is at your LFS)

it is a perfect match to the redfin fairy wrasse - max length 3.1 inches aquarium suitability 4.

flame wrasse could be a common name for this fish, it is not listed in this book, and I find this book has most everything,

my guess is that both names are compatible.

(thanks for giving me a break from studying for architectural exams)
