Default Spawning Cleaner Shrimp

I have a pair of lysmata grabhami (sp?) cleaner shrimp that have hatched eggs on a couple of occasions. Of course both times the fish had a fresh seafood feast but for the future does anyone have any info on bringing them to maturity in the home aquarium? Is it practical to do?

TIA

Possible and Practical are two different things.

Look for a boot on how to Raise & Train your Peppermint Shrimp, most of this also applies to cleaner shrimp.

Raising these types of shrimp can be quite a challenge. From what I have read and seen myself, if they get past the predators many will not mature beyond 5-10 moults.

Here are two articles that may help you out though. One from FAMA and the other from Reefs UK.

Best of luck....
Cheers
Steve
