Use a ghl standalone. Whether we use a reactor or doser testing is always required. All I do after my weekly tests is press the up arrow for each channel as needed. I also manually dose after the tests to balance my levels which may be low by 0.5 dkh or 10 ppm calcium. best investment i've made for the tank other than ato.

I have been running dosing pumps for over 5 years (not entirely sure how long... would have to look back) and absolutely love them!

So so so much better than my CARX and kalk reactor.
Still have a brand new deltec Kalk reactor at home if someones interested....

No option for calcium reactor which I use.
But does a perialistic doser for vinegar dosing count?

I use a GHL standalone (over 3 yrs now probably closer to 4), would not go back to manual dosing. Keeps my parameters stable.

I've been using a GHL doser for over 4 years now and have had no complaints with it. Mixing was a bit of a chore at first but then I started to buy more convenience in the form of BRS chemicals which mixes a lot easier than grocery store additives.

I use the BRS dosing pumps and I like them. I'm a bit slack with it though as the timers don't fit in my electrical extension box so I have to plug them in every day for however long it needs. That's my excuse for treating myself to an apex controller at Christmas though.

Been using a reactor for 12 years, and levels have stayed constant. I refill it once a year. I'm lazy like that

just started running a doser for vodka and phoz down am about to get going on the cal/mag/alk since manual dosing is such a pain. Never really looked into a calcium reactor as they scare me and i heard that they are for old people
