Default How to remove a plate coral from a rock?

So, way back when I started my cube I ended up with a cool hitchhiker... a plate coral! I have not been able to ID this particular species but it is attached to the LR and is (or atleast was) growing.

Unfortunately, my toadstool has overshadowed this poor thing and it is looking pretty rough and I feel it's time to move it. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on how to remove a plate coral from the rock without killing it?
