Default Really "cooking" LR

SO I am prepping my mom's new 75 and have a garbage can full of live rock.
Just a heater and power head, all is good right.
Well went into my workshop and thought I smelt... something.
Got to the live rock and felt heat coming off it.
Well I quickly pulled the pug and dropped in a thermometer and found the water over 100.
Well that is well cooked rock now.

I guess you have some more curing to do!!! Watch phosphates, and be sure they are zero before you add this rock to the tank.
