Default tank stand question

Just curious if anyone puts anything under their tank stands like a large rubber matt or underlay for those who have their tank stand on hardwood/laminant flooring. Before I go ahead and set up the tank and stand I though maybe I shoudl ask because I've always had my tanks in the past on carpet and then though maybe I would get vibrations through the floor if I put the tank and stand right on top of the laminant flooring. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

cheers,
Matt.

A little bit of Laminate underlay would,t hurt. Then the stand wont scratch the Floor. Just strips the width of the stand bottom would suffice.

I have a rubber mat under mine. I bought it from home depot. Just to protect the hardwood from scratches and spills. My stand is one of those metal frame stands.
