Default recirculating bio pellets reactor

Do you know where to buy recirculating bio pellets reactor beside Reef Dynamics?

I made my own out of an old calcium reactor, was an easy mod, if you want I will post pics, so far working great, using 1/4" line for feed and discharge works great as I plumb the discharge direct into the skimmer via the ozone port.

One thing I discovered with skimmers is that recirc can be a little overrated for the difference it makes. Thing you have to consider is that if you're drawing water out of the sump and then it exits back into the sump, it's already a recirculation to a degree.

With a little elbow grease you should be able to DIY a mod to recirc an existing single-pass reactor though. The Reef Dynamic models look pretty tricked out, I must say.

Good luck with the search or the mods, whatever you end up doing.

Just had a look at the Reef Dynamics unit, not far off of what I made using my old Precision Marine Calcium Reactor, cost me $30 in plumbing parts plus my old reactor and a pump I had lying around. I will try and get some pics in the next couple days.
