Lots of updating to do here, but it will have to wait. I understand now why Brad never updated his journal.
I will leave you with a few details; Switched to T5's Added a few fish and coral Started dosing Peroxide directly to the tank to try and control the Bubble Algae. Looks like I may have Bryopsis as well. Considering a restart. Will post more pics at a later date and update Peroxide experiment (possibly in a new thread) once results are certain. |

The perxoide to stop the BA is a bad idea you need concentrations that will also harm your corals. Nobody has had any luck with that.

Yeah, i can't find any evidence of that. People just say don't do it, which is what I'm sure they said about vodka. Although the corals are losing a bit of colour, I'm not seeing any major harm, and it appears to be working on the BA. Inconclusive results as of yet, but I'm not finished. |
