Default Killing Aptasia in overflow

So I had a couple aptasia in the overflow and was not all that worried about them ... the tank is an in wall with about 1 foot to the back wall and 2 fewest behind the tank so tight quarters ... needless to say I do not go down to the far end very often but did so today ... to my surprise these guys had gotten out of control so it was time to rid the overflow of aptasia once and for all
Before

Drained overflow and filled with Kalk water X 2 plus Freshwater X 2 then refilled with saltwater at 1.050 (240g tank so did not spike my salinity level at all)

And after

Neat idea to clean out the overflow like that. I need to do something like that with my overflow.
