Default Lunar light/night light

I know the norm is to use the blue LED but is it possible to use the white LED light in color. i think this looks more attractive and better quallity light. the blue is just a little awkward. not sure but i think the moon looks more white than blue but i guess to simulate under water conditions. anyone with more info. thanks

I think that the intend of blue LED is to simulate moonlight, which is about 470nm (wavelength).
