Where to buy hose bib for RODI?

Where can I buy a hose bib to connect to the inlet of my AquaSafe RODI system?

Any other method that is better? How do you guys attach the RODI?
I have access to a hose in my basement so this would be the most ideal.

not positive they sell to the public but try Davies Electric , they sell RO systems & all kinds of parts for them.

You can make something similar with standard parts from HD or other hardware stores. First get a 3/4" hose to 3/4 NPT adapter from the underground sprinkler section. Then either a 3/4 NPT to 1/4" adapter or a 1/2 NPT to 1/4" adapter with 3/4 x 1/2 bushing.

What you should really do is (have a plumber) tap into your water line before the main PRV. This way you get the higher city pressure, and thus better efficiency. Then he can just ensure that there is a 1/4" coupler so you can plug your RO/DI line right in without the need of a hose bib attachment.

This is how mine is done.

Note: on the other hand, I think I've seen those parts in the picture at Home Depot before...

I plumbed my RODI to the cold water pipe supplying the washer. Got most of the parts at Can Tire, pressure guage at Princess Auto (two actually). Copper tee, ball valve, copper to PVC JG type tee fitting with a handy 1/4" valved outlet to the pressure guage, then another adapter that takes the larger fitting down to JG 1/4" size for RODI.

I tweaked my PRV to provide 85 psi downstream vs the standard 60. Not sure I'd want to plumb the RODI in upstream of the PRV where it would have to deal with full city water pressure which can be up to 120 psi where I live. Some of the RODI system components may not be able to handle that long term.

I just went down to the local hardware store and bought a kit that they sell for installing to your fridge ice cube/water... It was about $15 and came with a line tap and 30' of hose...

Thanks everyone. I dont know much about plumbing and hose bib is easiest for me.

I went down to Home Depot and bought 3 pieces to assemble the hose bib. What is the pressure gauge for? Dont I just turn the hose on when I need RODI water?

Wow 120 psi? Surrey aims to provide 40psi at street level.
