I've been running a single on a 110g with 900gph return pump with no problems for about 2 years. Just throwing that out there so you know a single will probably work for you. In an ideal world I'd also have a double, but couldn't find one at the time.

Have you considered drilling it? I've drilled a 150 before
When it was 1/2 drained. That was 7 years ago and the tank is still running today.

I got 2 lifereef single overflow (slimline box) sitting in my Garage. Both has not been clean. Comes from my 2 closed tanks. Also got a spare U-tube & foam (if I can still find them)

Yeah, Dez, the way the tank is positioned, etc, and my fear of something going south (won't be able to afford to replace tank atm), kept me from doing it. I've struggled with it for a few months now.

Also was hoping that I will luck out on a reef-ready tank sometimes down the road, you know...

So yeah, I want to try this first. Maybe when I know more about how to build a proper drain pipe etc...(huge mystery to me), and what I want, I can get my hubby to attempt it.

Thanks for reply. Lenny.
