Vertex illumina?? I have the 5' 260 and am happy with it plus it looks great.

I have a 6 bulb t5 over a 36x24x12 tank and it's too bright for the corals sitting on the legs. I am going to have to raise it. Think u will be fine with a 18" deep tank

+1. Again, I am not sure why you would even want to buy a new light...let alone an LED light.
