Mine broke down 3 times (only play kids' dvd titles on mine these days) and it was still worth it (and better than a PS3). Microsoft (somehow) got something right when they built LIVE.

Live, don`t you have to be paaid on live to play most online games? That is why igot my ps3. I think ps3 has bettergraphics. I do have an xbox but it is pretty much just a media player now.

My X-box was refurbished and ran like a champ for 3 years. Suddenly a couple days ago it died... I hit pause on a vid game and came back 1.5hr later to find no power and wont turn on. Anyways... Looks good so far! Keep us in the loop!

I have had a dead xbox 360 laying around for about 6 years (when I bought my first ps3 which is still a champ)

PS3s get the yellow light of death. They die as well, I think slims were even worse for this too. Earlier Xbox models were bad but that's since be resolved. I still much prefer Xbox Live so that's my primary console; I had enough crap treatment from Sony years ago and don't support them much anymore.

Any new pictures of the build?

I have both consoles, I can't justify paying the monthly fee for the Xbox Live even though the controllers are better. Just my two cents.
