Angry Cirolanids?

We found this little guy in our tank, and caught him with a fish net. Our tank's only 4-5 months old, and we only have 4 scarlet hermits and a cleaner shrimp. We're worried now that when we add a fish, these guys will replicate.

Can anyone confirm? Or do you think he's safe? He was about 3 mm long, quite small.

can it roll up into a ball?

If it can roll itself up it's a beneficial scavenger more then likely and good for the tank

It curled up when we put in the bowl, but didnt go into a complete ball. Man they're fast little things.

Yes please, how DO we get rid of them? Or even know if we have more, for that matter?

does it have legs? If not it could be a chiton. I've got one in my tank, about 3 " long. Good for the tank. Algae grazer, but make no good for an acrylic tank as they can mark the acrylic with their teeth.

Yeah, it definitely had legs. So assuming they're corolanids (which they seemt o most clsoely resemble), does anyone know how to get rid of them?

Should we hold off on adding fish until we get rid of them?

Ciralonids can be easily beaten as I did it personally in my 400gallon system with many fish in it. They are a sucker for baited traps.

The story of how I beat them starts on pg. 26.
