I always thought nori given to fish were processed in a certain way.
Didn't realize you could just feed them the same ones we eat.

I got a 100 sheet package of Hoshi Nori for about $6 bucks and change at the Korean market by The Pet superstore in Langley, I'm sure most Korean/T&T type stores have it.
Just be sure it's non-seasoned dried natural seaweed only.

Laurie, next time you're there can you pick me up a 100 sheet pack please. It's almost $10 cheaper in Langley than what I found in town.

can anyone recommend a brand that doesn't fall apart a few seconds after its put in the tank? I bought some from IGA and it just falls apart into tiny pieces. The tangs swim around and grab them but they make a mess!!!

Default Wondering where's the best place locally to buy seaweed/sushi sheets?

The nori I buy from Sunrise does not break apart. I use to fold the nori and wrap it around a fishing float which was anchored to a small chunk of live rock.

My tangs loved it. They had lots of fun picking away at it especially when it's moving about with the wave makers.

Keep in mind, there will be pieces which will float around just from the fish tearing at it
