Default Powerhead Options

So I decided to go with tunze powerheads for my 230G set up. I am wondering what pumps to use other then the wavemaker. I would like to create some wave action for softies and LPS. my return pump is a Sedra 2000. any suggestion will be appretiated. I would like to keep the cost at about $300 range. thanks

Abe

The JBJ pumps and wavemakers have been making a wave (no pump intented). They have a kit with wavemaker control and dual 1600gph pumps at right around $120 CDN.

2 kits would be great for your set-up. LMK if you need more info on these.

You could use a couple of Tunze 6095 or 6105 on the multi controller (or branch them off of the single controller). I think one on each side of the tank would work nicely for you.

Another nice setup would be the smaller 6055, but 4 of them, one in each corner and with a multi controller. That would give you some good flow throughout the tank.
