Lighting box:

Getting there... but I didn't like this location in the house:

To combat the high temperatures (hit 98 on the first test run) I had to add some fans to the canopy. They are stealth 80mm fans running on a 12VDC adapter.

Here is the tank in the new location, we can't take advantage of the three viewable sides but it still looks good there for now.

And the first shot at the rockwork. Tried something new!

No livestock until I get home from work. I have to leave for about 2 weeks so the tank should be near ready for livestock when I get home.

Thanks Buddy!

Looks like I have a small cyano outbreak I need to deal with! I'm not going to get livestock in it until I get home from work and that may be well into December... damn.

Did you notice my false wall moved back some. I don't know why it let go but it shifted back some. Doesn't really matter though, it 's still doing its job.

I can't wait to get some life into there!

Default A couple new shots!

I yanked the one 10K I was running and replaced it with another 22000 AquaScience Blue so now the tank is a deep blue. It'll take me a while to get used to it but the corals look great!

Alpha & Omega Zoo's

Alien Eye Chalice

Pink Nebula Montipora

Starfield Montipora

Pics look awesome buddy! I guess I'll have to step it up a little and get some macros up as well

So you just have a straight blue tank now? All 22000K?

Yep, I don't know if I like it yet. The corals look great but the tank is...well, blue!

I am going to try and get some nice tank shots once everything gets used to the lights. How's Einstein doing?

Do you find you're using your fisheye lens much? I am debating picking that up as well when I get my new lens.

Cheers!
