If you get rid of those guys what are you going to put in the tank? If you really want rid of them I am sure I can find some space, after all I am dealing with 40sq ft of real estate You need to stop by and have a look at this thing it's crazy, can't wait to get it in the wall.

It was an easy sell once I saw it last week all set up, took all of 10 seconds to seal that deal, I have a few small changes in mind regarding how the equipment will be plumbed. If all goes well I should have it back up and running with the fish back in by next weekend.

Let me put it this way, if you don't want them they are going to Bobs.

I want to clean up the cube tank and put some of the corals and rock that are in the 175 into the cube tank... making more room for new corals and maybe a bit more swimming room for the fish

I might just stop in monday to have a look....your going to have to start charging an admission fee to your basement

That is an awesome plan to have the tank sit outside like that and then build walls around it to make a fishroom. How cold does it get in winter for you guys?

100 miles north of Vancouver, an easy 19 hour drive you are more than welcome to stop by if you are ever in the area.

This is the easy way for me to make it work, no taking up room in the house and eliminating the humidity issue that comes with this kind of water volume, we don't get really cold winters, the room will be well insulated and properly ventilated.

Water changes shouldn't be a problem, I will just use the water from the reef when I do that one.

Apparently you have a very understanding wife to let you get away with a tank that size. This going to be a good thread to fellow along. Good luck!
