Yes I agree, the breeder shown my guy I dont have any interest in that. We like to play in the Field Tests and Trials. We both love going out for a weekend to talk to other people who share the same love I do and to go out to compete or test. Just another way to pass the time until fall.

it was brought to my attention that perhaps I have failed my dogs in showing them off to the canreefers

Pepper, Aka Big Fatty, aka fatty, aka PUPPAAAAAY! Recovering from a FCE, we almost had to put her down, but luckily garlic sausage was enticement to recover (lol)

She's definitely lab crossed with pyrenees - LOVES water... but only up to her knees... (she's actually pyrenees x (Colie/Lab) if you're wondering about the merle coloring)

Cody, aka scrawny, aka "Genuine alberta prairie dog"

Both rescues... Both mutts... Both overly loved...

Somewhat similar to a stroke in people, except it occurs in the dogs spine; apparently it can happen to any dog - any age, any time... In older dogs they can MRI with contrast to verify, but that wasn't an option with pepper - as at 14months they didn't believe they'd see enough to make the diagnosis... Luckily there is some likelyhood of recovery as colateral circulation kicks in, but it was a scary two weeks - never imaged having to discuss putting a dog down at just over a year of age...

Pepper was one of those lucky ones, about 2 weeks of being completely paralized, but has made a 90% recovery, she still limps and has difficulty controlling her left legs - but is largely back to a normal life...

Wow that is pretty scary..never heard of that. She is a sweatheart, glad she recouvered. I have a dog very much like her and he has the worst luck ever.
Accident prown.....but he is the biggest suck ever. He worships my daughter
and looks at her with total love and devotion, kinda creepy actually. What we
will do for our pets!

here is a pic for you boxer lovers. This is a buddys dog she was the ring bearer at his wedding.

This is my dog.

This is the first time I looked at that pic full size and I now realize you can't see him. He is a 2 year old sheperd/lab about 100lbs.

He is 7 now. I also taught him to jump on my shoulders and give me a huge when ever i came home and he won't do it for anyone else

but ya, the lady who cuts his hair used to breed wheatens and she wanted to bring him to dog shows just because of how white he is. i want a boston terrier in a few years but i don't know if i could ever replace him
