It looks great. Nice job aquascaping.

I have never personally liked BB, but on yours it really looks good.

How do you keep your bare bed so clean?

i dont do anything special, i dont even have much CUC in there..6 snails? and 1 hermit which keeps murdering my snails.. i have a sally lightfood + whitetail drawf angle which is constantly on the work. but other then that i dose a source of carbon to my tank, vodka, sugar, and vinegar + amino acids i dont see to get much coraline growth on the glass but im getting orange, red, pink, dark purple coraline spots all over my LR more of the orange ones then pink for some reason.

can you explain the vinegar + amino acids part a little more? DIY amino acid mix? korallen zucht's coral vitalizer smells like salad dressing so I've always suspected it's some sort of vinegar mixture

nice frags there! "starting" to colour up? lol

maybe that got a bit confusing, when i stated that u dosed a source of carbon i was using vodka, sugar, and vinegar along with that i was dosing a source of vitamins/ amino to see wat the difference would be. ive never tried korallen zucht's coral vitalizer, but if it smells like vinegar most likely its a form of acetate(carbon source). companies like zeovit and ultralith use products like acetate for a couple of there products as there system runs on fueling the bacteria in the system to lower the NO3 and PO4.

heres a little update, during JLs nano stream sale i went and picked up a 6055 with a single controller, its a great powerhead but the flow it puts out is a little too straight, so i did started to do a search for nanostream mods and came across the one on RC. i saw what they were doing and decided to do the extreme nanostream mod. and here it is. i hope it does what its supposed to do( widen flow, increase flow).

this mod only voids the front housing of the tunzes powerheads and they are only 17$ to replace which isnt that bad. the pipe has now been increased to 1.5" instead of the original 1"

heres a comparison to the original housing.

Interesting mod...how did you do that? It looks like extra rings from the side profile...

with this mod i had to dremel away the original plastic housing until the 1.5" coupling could fit, after that i used ABS/PVC cement to bond the 2 plastics together then painted with krylon paint as we cant find black ABS/PVC glue in canada.
