You know what is funny, I just moved from 15 min from St.Marys and never knew that place even existed. Thanks for the tips How do you go about using a shipping depot for pick up?

Fadelle Marine is a hidden gem - pricey but top quality corals. if you ever want to go like four ways on a colony i know another london reefer and one in st.thomas. we could just frag em ourselves

U.S. Parcel and Package Pick-Up Location - you need to visit the site and setup and account. they have an address on their home page that provide to the US retailer. Its about a 5-10 minute drive once you cross the bridge. They charge $5 per package/

Toronto here....new to the hobby and the site.

Is this forum more focussed on the west coast or is the hobby just more popular out west? Is there other forums more focussed on Ontario/GTA? I guess being from Toronto (Yonge and Finch), as is typical of Torontonians, I figured that the forum would be more Toronto-centric (particularly the classifieds).

I'm planning on starting a new 130d RSM tank - planning on buying from Big Als - unless any locals have a cheaper recommendation (do tanks ever go on sale).

Also do people generally use online vendors or go to local fish stores (taking into consideration price, duty, selection, convenience and advice)

I just bought some dry rock from bulkreefsupply.com - was surprised they delivered to Canada (actually they seemed very used to dealing with Canadian customers)

TO CANREEF

We have many members from Ontario, as we do from most all of the eastern provinces, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. The board was started on the west coast, so it does have many BC & Alberta members, but we have grown to one of the best reefing boards anywhere.

In Calgary here. New to the hobby as of June. Find it a very addictive hobby! 12g, 22g and now, in the works, a 74g custom build... thankfully soon to be picked up because my 2 nanos are stuffed with coral.
Interested in collecting SPS and LPS corals from anywhere.. :-) including during visits to Ontario and BC

First off, I am a newbie to the site and hear many good things about it. I've been in the hobby for 1 1/2 yrs and I have really gotten into SPS corals. I run a 75G now and am currently setting up my new 180G. I am located in New Hamburg, ON and work in Stratford, ON.

Looking forward to being a part of a forum that is not so restricting on everything!
