Oh ya I did see that too! You're nuts!! Wow, you keep alkalinity that high with an Elos kit eh? The reason I ask is that Salifert alkalinity reads 2 dKH higher than Elos (which you probably know).

Actually I didn't know that and but thanks for the tip. I've never bothered taking the time test them against each other. I think you just solved a recent parameter issue for me.

What bulbs are you using and ballast.
Also what is your water change schedule with such a big tank.

So for the alkalinity test kit which one is right? I use salifert what should my reading be.

bulbs
250's are Pheonix
150's are XM
Pendent is a Hamilton & the other fixture is Aquamedic, both with their original name branded ballasts.
