I am also a retailer of All-Glass tanks and have had a few crack over the years. I would suggest you give all-glass a call as we have done this in the past and they have always replaced the tank. I know the warranty states that it must be on all-glass stand but I have never personally heard of them enforcing that rule. Calling them would definately be worth a try.

One day, they are going to invent a new tank that is fool proof. They will look back at those poor people that lived in the early 21st century, and wonder how those poor people ever managed.

Well after some thought - the odds of this happening twice...

If J&L can replace the tank and my AC Jr and Osmolator are okay I think I'll setup again. Both contollers were a little wet but functioning when I tore the tank down so maybe they are still okay - I'll fire them up and check them tomorrow after work.

Bill saved all my coral, liverock, and fish so there can be a happy ending.

KT said "can you double silicone tanks?" Maybe thats not a bad Idea - lol.

My ACjr fell in a bucket of water and still works. I just took it apart and let it dry for a while in front of the fire. Put it back together and its still running fine.

Hope yours keeps working! Good luck man.

Holy smokes Jack. This sucks!

Hope things work out. Let me know if you need anything. I have lots of spare stuff kicking around.

If you can't get the tank replaced free, I have a new 65g 3' Perfecto still at BAs that I never picked up yet. Let me know if you need it.

Before you fire up the electronics I would seriously consider opening them up for a cleaning, electronics stores have a spray that will clean/dry/seal the circiut board after it has been wet, any dried salts on the board will shorten the life considerably, I have a can around here somewhere if you want the name of it, works great.

Pretty much any "contact Cleaner" will be fine on electronics. Rubbing Alcohol is fine as well. Got to clean any salts or deposits as they usually are conductive and will lead to letting the smoke out
