ok so I got an idea, but it would require me finding mandrins that are eating prepared foods.. how hard are these to find now days?

Any green spotted mandarin usually will take prepared foods. Look at getting a ora mandarin if you want they are guaranteed to eat pellets. For the record i have 122X turn over in my display and 160X in my frag and the dwarf angles love it.

Yeah they have both mandrins. I got a flame he is never touched a coral but thinks he is the biggest fish in the tank along with some large tangs so that is kinda a problem with them.
