Photo tip: Shorten your exposure from what you had, and those pics would represent the tank but more accurately.. (could also make the f/stop smaller instead... ie: f/3.5 to f/7.1)

Tank looks good though... gonna be sad to see that frogspawn go though.

Looks awesome! Really looks like some amazing growth! You're sure those blastos are happy eh?? Kidding. So sad to see the frogspawn going! You'll have to fill it with an equally impressive piece!!!!! Ooo that sorta sounds fun! And the hunt is on....

Thanks everybody! So its gone....buddy came last night and took it home....There is now a huge void in the tank that I spent the better part of the evening staring at....Being that gargantuspawn was such a focal point of the tank Im thinking that I need to do something really cool with the rock work where he used to live. Im gonna pick through the LR at work today to see if I can find a couple pieces to make what I have in mind, come to life. That coral had some serious weight to it...like a couple pounds, easy. I did a quick and rough count of the heads while it was un-happy and there was easily 40-50. I miss it already Last time I checked, my manfrags were still there. Believe me....I would love to upgrade but there are too many reasons why I cant....money, space and the fact that we rent means that whatever tank I have needs to be somewhat portable, so anything bigger than this would be a major undertaking to move. Excuses, excuses....I know....I will take a few new fts pics once I am happy with how the reno goes. Gonna sound geeky but...live long and prosper Gargantuspawn.

Makes that birdsnest frag in the background look even smaller than it probably is...

Hopefully that little frag of yellow birdsnest will become a new focal point of the tank. I took your advice btw for this next round of pics...whatcha think?

So after picking through the lr at the store(and there is probably 400-500#s there) I finally held up a piece and went...."this might work".... got it home and.... it fit like a glove. I knew I wanted to fill the area in a bit, so that I could glue in some recent frag additions. The thing is, I have a K2 powerhead stashed behind the rock work, pointing towards the front right corner of the tank that I wanted to keep. Also there is a zoanthid colony growing on the main pile of rock, right where it would be best to add rock. So simply pililng on a couple more chunks was something I wanted to avoid. So heres what the new scape looks like. The new piece "bridges" from the main pile to the overhang. This way I avoided the zoas, didnt have to move the powerhead and made another pass through for the fish......I think Im happy with it.
