Wow simply beautiful shots! What kind of set up and settings do you use for those shots? If you don't mind sharing.

Thanks. To be honest, my settings vary and it depends if I am using tripod or not, where the lights are etc... I think I shot these at ISO 500, lower f stops as I was using a tripod ( I am usually too lazy and would shoot hand held) and shutter remote. I also used a 2x extender on the 100 macro lens as well.

Thanks, Rich. There is still much to do with this rebuild however, having the support from buddies like you and Peter the enjoyment and fun is back!

Thanks, guys! That is suppose to be a RR nauti spiral. The polyps are a deep rouge however, I guess them Mitras made them polyps look kinda blue. It is an awesome piece and very affordable and fast grower too! MJC may have them. I'll try and get a top down some time later in this week.

Default Jan 2014 updates and pics

Happy New Year to all reefers! Not much to update other than experiencing patches of cyano and to take care of this I added chemiclean into the tank and I will complete the process with a 40-50 gallon water change this weekend. Some frags have taken only 2-3 mths to settle while others have taken 4-5 mths...

Within the past three weeks Alk hit 11, ca is at 1390 and mg is at 1290. Will need to incr on ca and mg and with the water change to reduce the Alk. I may keep it higher as I am noticing better growth, or it may just be a coincidence.

The BK is doing an tremendous job while the new wp25s increases the flow and making the millis even happier.

Here are a few new pics....

Have a few new top down shots and will share later...
