Oddly I'm having some serious growth on my zoas at the moment, it was much slower when I had a tank packed with them. Would be interested to see a high quality PPM test before and after the introduction of any of them.

I just noticed nobody really answered this for you Levi. Maybe you know by know but here are how chaices get rare and expensive.....here is a list of things that make a chalice rare and desirable to the collector.

-a nice and bright base colour (duh)
-contrasting eyes (green wont cut it here, must be yellow, orange, pink, red etc.)
-a green rim or contrasting coloured rim
-splashes of other colours in the body

any combination of these traits are good and finally we come to the explanation of what a proper rainbow chalice is.... basically it has a multicoloured base with contrasting eyes and contrasting rim.

Hows your frag doing? Im sure you saw a picture of my mother colony. I have had that one for over a year if you were curious. Chalices love to be feed as a tip...it will grow much faster if you can get it to eat.

Thanks for the info Darryl, the frag is doing very well. Here's a few photos of the little guy.

I was afraid portions were possibly bleaching but I'm pretty sure that's just the eye forming process now? The area lightened and then a little green spot formed, got larger and then a mouth popped up! Second new eye since I've gotten it, slow grower but hands down my favorite!

PUNNIISHHHERRRRR!!! CONTROLL!!! (aka photo dump)
