Another update the door is on so I can now continue just have to finnish sealing it up put in a vent to let fresh air in this will help the exhaust fan work better. Then the fun begins setting up all the equipment

OK it has been a while This project got put on hold While I was battling with Kidney stones. But it has made some progress I have taken a week off to get it finished. All the painting is done the flooring and base boards are in the fresh air vents are in. I ran the fresh water line for the Ro/Di unit, the drain line for water changes and the waste water from the Ro/Di unit today. the stand for the sump is in place I built it about a month ago. Hopefully I will get it up and running tomorrow. I would of got a lot more done but the wife pulled me away from my sump room the build a play area for the cats (cat land)

this is cat land it is on the wall across form my sump room

the outside of the sump room (view from cat land)

looking in the door at the stand

View from the end of the stand

Good look at the Ro/Di unit from the door you can see where the drain enters the room it is the thing with the rag hanging out if it ( The water waste and supply lines will be tied up when it is done)

This is one of 2 fresh air vents this is in the corner above the sump and there is one under the sump as well

Nikki
Told you I would post some updated pics (one day)
Hope this keeps you Happy for awhile

Cat land looks fantastic Doug!! lol

Everything is coming along nicely! We were out that way last night and thought about stopping by but ran out of time I can't wait to see everything up and running. If you need a hand getting the sump in there, let us know.

Keep the updates coming!

Well it was another 16 hour day yesterday working on the sump room connection almost have it hooked up but ran into a few snags at about 1:30 am so we had to admit defeat and go to bed. Got a solid 4 1/2 hours of sleep. Went out and picked up some more plumbing parts for todays effort

well this Where we started for the day Removing the old sump from under the tank. Yah I know what you are thinking you should leave it there and turn it into a Fuge but I needed it out of the way to drill the holes in the floor to run the plumbing down stairs

Well I tried to cut the seams to save the glass but man they build these tanks tough so we taped it up and broke out the BFG ( BIG F*@#$&% Hammer )

The point of no return

The first two runs down stairs

The sump in place on the stand

Pump in place under the stand

Pump plumbed in and return line running back up to the display

Magie Hard at it supervising the upgrade

Too cool! I had considered doing a series of cat ramps as well for my cats in my last house. I had seen some lady's website and she went way overboard with it and I felt inspired. Glad I didn't as we decided to move. So far a 7 foot cat tower upstairs is as crazy as I've gotten...

We have 12 cats ranging from less then one year to over 12 years old ( human years ) they are all indoor cats. Never a dull moment around this house.

12 cats
14 rabbits
3 guinea pigs
2 fish tanks
one LARGE koi pond
too many birds

And one empty wallet
